#blacklivesmatter

June 05, 2020

If we've learned anything this past week, it's that our country is broken. At the Beauty Garden, we stand in solidarity against hate, racism, racial intolerance & injustice. Black lives matter!

We have an opportunity, a responsibility to create change. Together we can do so much more than apart. We will not be silent when our black friends, family & neighbors are living in fear.

We want to take sustainable actions that we can continue to practice in order for the momentum to continue and grow:

  • We are having meaningful conversations, no longer silent when friends or family make excuses, spout statistics, or downplay the urgent need for change.
  • As a company we will be focusing our attention on partnering with more WOC & BIPOC brands and learning how we can create more diverse content.
  • We will be listening to podcasts featuring black leaders and influencers to hear their specific calls to action & keep watching informative content to further open our eyes to what is really happening in our country so that we can help further support this movement.

We hope that you will join us in listening to your head and heart to figure out what organizations compel you to give & find sustainable actions that you can take to join those fighting for racial equality.
